While they appear to one entity individually, they are actually made up tons of semi-sentient, single-celled organisms called Oracle Cells that group around under a cell core (Aragami Core) that acts as a command center. Brutish Monsters Aragami, violent by nature, are monsters that only crave to consume and are the main antagonists and enemies of the video game franchise God Eater. That won't be acceptable, so it's only a hypothesis. Now if we could influence intelligence into aragami, influence humanity, would they.turn human? Sadly, as per the data collected, to feed aragami with humans. Vajratail however are the proof for mutation, a pack of ogretails killing vajra and devouring their cells let to this change. We can't stop aragami, but they can lose interest for things they don't like the taste of. Are humanoid aragami.the next humans in the new world?īack on topic, aragamis have their own diet preferences, this is how shields and walls are built. Shio, had the supreme core "singularity" which made me think of something. The idea, aragami will devour everything, aragami will evolve, mature, then with hunger will devour the planet. Explains why we rarely see them kill each other outside of cutscenes, anyway.ĭon't forget, Aragami are the world reset mechanism. Hell, what if aragami are all connected by some weird-ass hive mind? That's. I'd like to hear what they're thinking as they single-mindedly wander around, eat stuff and occasionally eviscerate someone, but if they can all think, best we'd get is white noise. And even then, that doesn't explain why most regular aragami, despite this apparent brain power, are all mindless slobbering lunatics with little more than basic predatory instincts. Perhaps they're all about as smart as a single human brain cell, and need to clump together to truly gain consciousness. Sure, they're smart when combined into something that lives, but the capacity for thought doesn't immediately mean they can all individually think for themselves. Considering that, makes me wonder if Oracle Cells are truly intelligent. It's entirely likely human-form aragami aren't even aware that they're made of oracle cells ( as seen with Phym in 3, who has to figure it out for herself and have an identity crisis over it) so it's possible regular aragami aren't aware of it either. Hence Shio referring to herself as a single person, and not a group. Remove or destroy it and the other cells scatter.Īs for Shio, I'm guessing Aragami cells have a bit of a hive mind thing going on, and see themselves as one sole organism. Cores are just clusters of cells that act like a brain, hence the official name being a CNS, or central nervous system. Note: keep in mind I haven't played GE2 or 3 so if there is any spoiler on how an aragami works please please hide it.Įssentially. So why is everyone talking about Shio like she is a living organism when she is not or the adaptation and the evolution of argamis that are also not living organisms, but merely a cooperation between billions of intelligent life forms to create a form that allows them to consume and learn more? Also can the core cell dictate the bias( the food preference) of the other billion cells that are in the Aragami colony? I thought that an aragami is not a living organism, but a colony made of millions of cellular organisms known as the oracle cells and the strongest one of them gets to become the core cell and control this colony that resembles a creature, while the other cells are fulfilling the roles of the monster's parts, so when we attack the aragami, we're severing the connection that the cells have with the core cell until it stops moving, and once we remove the core cell the other cell disperse and go to create a new aragami, is that right? I played both the remake and the original God Eater Burst, I've read through the terminals database(I find the og descriptions to be better than the remake) and I'm still confused on what an aragami is.
